VITA LUTING SET
The VITA LUTING SET is an adhesive luting system for the cementation of etchable ceramic and composite restorations to natural tooth substance. It contains all materials required for the adhesive technique.
The VITA LUTING SET is suitable for the definitive luting of ceramic restorations, e.g. from VITABLOCS Mark II, TriLuxe and TriLuxe forte (inlays, onlays, veneers, crowns) as well as the permanent cementation of composite restorations, e.g. those made of VITA VM LC COMPOSITE (inlays, veneers, crowns).
Restorations made of the above materials always require adhesive cementation in order to guarantee their long-term clinical success.
Restorations made of low-silicate aluminum oxide ceramic, such as VITA In-Ceram ALUMINIA, SPINELL and ZIRCONIA are not etchable and require a special method of cementation with modified Bis-GMA composites..
Description of the components:
VITA CEREC ETCHANT GEL
35% orthophosphoric acid for etching enamel.
Stable consistency and good application properties, dark blue color.
VITA CEREC A.R.T. BOND
A two-step dentin/enamel adhesive for the cementation of ceramic and composite restorations to natural tooth substance, and for sealing the cavity to avoid postoperative sensitivity. Also suitable as aprotective varnish for sensitive teeth.
VITA CERAMICS ETCH
5% hydrofluoric acid gel for etching ceramic restorations.
Red colored. Strictly for extra-oral use.
VITASIL
A single-component silane coupling agent.
Enhances a chemical bond between ceramic restorations and adhesive composites.
VITA CEREC DUO CEMENT
Light and chemically reactive two-component fine hybrid composite adhesive cement with medium viscosity.
Colored with the VITAPAN classical shade D3.
VITA OXY-PREVENT
A neutral-colored glycerine gel to prevent the formation of an oxygen inhibition layer in the case of CEREC DUO CEMENT. Can also be used as a try-in paste.
